Special Education Day

December 2, 2022 is Special Education Day. It was established in 2005, during the 30th anniversary to commemorate the signing of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) into law in 1975.

IDEA grants access to children with special educational needs to free and quality public education.

IDEA laid the groundwork for educators and families to work together. Today, there are options through public education, as well as, private educators.

Do you have a child with learning differences? Maybe you know of somebody at your child’s local school that needs resources.

Dr. Louise Debreczeny and her team at INSL are dedicated to helping students with learning differences, their families, and educators create positive change at home and in the classroom.

Their upcoming workshop is on December 10 10AM-12PM Beyond Behaviorism: Five Visual Language Strategies to Help Students Learn Prosocial Concepts at School and Home

Please share with those across the USA that may benefit from this workshop. And visit the website for other workshops and recorded webinars.
