May 3 – National Teacher Day – Thank you to all the teachers that continue to work with our future.
May 4 – Star Wars Day – May the 4th be with You. Phrase was first recorded on May 4, 1979, but it had nothing to do with Star Wars.
May 5 & 6 – Star Wars Day I – Revenge of the 5th or some way Revenge of the 6th because as the case may be, in regard to the Sith, “Always two there are.”
May 8 – Mothers’ Day – this can be an individual that has been a mother-figure to you, too.
May 12 – Limerick Day – write your own and post on Social Media
May 30 – Memorial Day – US federal holiday to remember those that have lost their lives while serving in the armed forces.
Get Caught Reading Month – What are some books to read?
The Science of Star Wars because on page 94 of this 1999 book, you will find the reference to “May the 4th be with you.”
