Back to School

As kids start or go back to school in 2021, it will be vastly different than in 2019 and 2020.  Some may have transitioned to homeschooling or hybrid models, while others are going back to traditional classrooms.

No matter the means of the transition, there are still supplies and clothing that need to be purchased. This year, parents that shop for school supplies will spend more when making purchases via mobile devices than those that shop via desktop or in-person. 48% will spend >$250 for elementary school supplies and 49% will spend >$750 for college student supplies.

As a parent, you may have already done most purchases in July. However, if your high school or college student is shopping for themselves, they may wait until the last minute to buy. And college students are more likely to do their supplies shopping online via mobile or desktop (39% and 65% respectively).

As you decipher the best way to shop, look for local bargains that stores have for your school’s required supplies and start your shopping early.
