Summer Travel

You may have seen increases in airfare, hotels, and car rentals. Even so, more families are traveling this summer.

Never fear because bargains are here!

If you have flexibility, you will be able to find some great deals. Some examples were shown on Scott’s Cheap Flights and Hopper with roundtrip fares for $124 to Hawaii and hotels in Japan for $113/night.

Another option to save on travel is to go to areas that have been hit the hardest, such as locations that would have had conferences. Those are usually around city centers, which means that maybe embarking on museum-hopping excursions or getting to know the local culture of a city might land you a better bargain than if you were on an island.

And lastly, if you have kids, going back to road-tripping may be the way to go. Keep in mind that 83% of parents are not comfortable flying with their children currently. This means that more families will be on the road and there may be more waits at restaurants associated with road trips.

Be safe in whichever means you choose to vacation this summer and enjoy the experience.
