World Mental Health Day

As the weather gets gloomier you may start feeling a little down.

“Many of us are tired, feel depleted, and are concerned about the future. It’s important to realize that being resilient doesn’t mean we don’t ever feel overwhelmed or experience struggle. It simply means we have the internal resources and abilities to adapt to stress and adversity,” says Liz Hill, Total Worker Health adviser at SAIF.

Be sure to talk to friends and family about what you are feeling. And, if you need more seek a mental health provider. The cost is that of seeing your primary care physician and the rewards will be of having mental clarity and wellness.

On October 10th, be sure to think about who you can help by lending an ear. You’d be surprised who you may be able to help.
